CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) PRESS RELEASE

by Tatum Sieni

Following the President’s national address regarding COVID-19 and his declaration of a National State of Disaster, all Century City Property Owners’ Association (CCPOA) and Intaka Island public events, such as Markets, the Galileo Open Air Cinema, Full Moon hikes, etc. have, understandably, been suspended until further notice.

In addition, and in line with the key containment and mitigation measures taken, inter alia, by the City of Cape Town to reduce the spread of the virus, the Intaka Island Eco-Centre and Reserve will be closed to the public from Thursday 19 March 2020.

ALL OTHER CCPOA SERVICES AND FUNCTIONS WILL CONTINUE AS NORMAL, INCLUDING OUR 24/7 SECURITY OPERATIONS CENTRE AVAILABLE ON 021-202 1000

We will be reviewing the situation on a continuous basis and communicating further in due course.

We ask that all property owners, residents, tenants, employees and visitors be mindful and take the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the COVID-19.

If you suspect there may be a chance you have contracted the virus, please call the General Public 24/7 Hotline on 0800 029 999.

For Century City related enquiries, please email us on info@centurycity.co.za

Let’s ensure that as a community we protect ourselves and others by taking precautions and staying safe.  We will be in touch with updates as necessary.

Stay safe and look after one another.
